Green’s Sugarhouse is glad to be participating in this years Open Farm Week put on by Dig in VT! Visit the Sugarhouse both Friday & Saturday (August 9&10) from 10am-4pm for a Complete Maple Tour. Complementary guided tours will start on the hour every hour both days. Each tour will walk you through the entire sugaring process-from the Sugar maple tree in the woods to the jug you take home. Samples of our award winning maple products will be provided at the end of each tour along with freshly spun Maple Cotton Candy! The sugarhouse store will be open all day for those looking to take a taste of Vermont home with them.

Important Travel Advisory: Bridge Closure. Please put Castleton University into your GPS first, then once you are there put in our address. This will bring you in from the North to the sugarhouse over Pond Hill Ranch Road. Some GPS’ make try and take you over Watkins Hill Road, we have been warned they don’t want people going this way-it is not wide enough for two lane traffic. Please stick to Pond Hill. There is construction in Poultney causing a complete bridge closure on Route 140 right before Finel Hollow Road. Therefore, coming from Castleton (North) or Middletown Springs (East) or the only points of entry. We cannot be reached through East Poultney. Coming from Middletown Springs- Hampshire Hollow Road is the best option.
